In April 2015 Heather and I joined a group of fellow travellers on a trip to Costa Rica. The trip was organized by Dan and Tanya of Natural Exposures. While the main goal of the trip was to get some good photographs of the flora, fauna, and scenery of the area, there were plenty of activities for the non-photographer as well. Heather and I had always wanted to see Costa Rica so this was a great opportunity to be part of an escorted tour but with minimal travel. One of our scenic locations was an eco-lodge in the south-west corner of Costa Rica where we had a view of both the Golfo Dulce and the Pacific Ocean. We saw lots of wildlife including a number of species of monkeys, amphibians, and birds. All of the shots were taken within a very short distance of our hotel or other public areas. We also engaged in a few other activities such as zip-lining, wine and chocolate tasting, and spending time on the beach. We loved the country and I am sure we will go back.
